Yar Kirsanov is a visual artist, illustrator, and graphic designer from Russia. He was born in 1984 in Saratov, a small russian town on the Volga river. He still lives there working with international brands and individuals from all over the world. He is a member of Russian Collage community, participating in local and international collage initiatives.

Working in digital and mixed media, Yar refers to the archetypal images of the Unconscious. Multi-layered, complex, fragmented imagery of Yar’s collage works reflects his artistic vision of subjective reality. The works of Yar Kirsanov are primarily figurative due to the fascination with motifs of human corporeality and identity.
