Echoes of Elsewhere
April 5 - 27, 2025
A threshold, a portal, a moment suspended in time—Echoes of Elsewhere brings together three artists whose work explores memory, transformation, and the unseen forces that shape our inner and outer worlds. Through photography, drawing, and painting, the exhibition creates a space where personal histories, shifting landscapes, and invisible energies converge.
Each artist navigates the tension between control and surrender, the familiar and the unknown. Tamsen Wojtanowski's deeply personal works investigate autobiography, identity, and time, offering a visual language for emotions too vast for words. Adina Segal's layered images capture fleeting moments of natural wonder, framing them as portals to contemplation and change. Kelly Lawler contributes a dialogue of interconnected experiences—of wading through memory, tracing ephemeral rhythms, and reaching toward connection.
Together, their works open a conversation on transformation—of self, of place, of time. Here, we pause, reflect, and imagine what lies beyond.

Interwoven Opening Reception
Interwoven , a solo exhibition by Agathe Bouton, explores the rich textile traditions of Southeast Asia and Africa, connected through the deep blue of indigo. As Bouton weaves her monoprints into layered compositions with gold and silver leaf, she reflects on cultural exchange, craftsmanship, and tradition. Inspired by her time in Myanmar, Côte d'Ivoire, and Senegal, this series honors the women who preserve these histories through their art.

Agathe Bouton
May 5 - 31, 2025
Interwoven explores the deep histories and shared traditions of textiles in Southeast Asia and Africa. Through her new series Les Bleus à l'Âme (Blues of the Soul), Bouton creates a textile-driven conversation, weaving together personal experience, cultural exchange, and artistic experimentation. Inspired by her time in Myanmar, Côte d'Ivoire, and Senegal, she reflects on the significance of indigo, a color that transcends borders, linking diverse weaving traditions and everyday rituals.
By cutting and weaving her monoprints into modular compositions, Bouton blends contemporary techniques with echoes of traditional craftsmanship. Gold and silver leaf shimmer across her works, evoking the gilded pagodas of Southeast Asia and the precious metals of African artistry. Her work is both a tribute to the women who preserve these centuries-old techniques and a call to appreciate the beauty of cultural diversity, resilience, and artistic heritage.
Opening Reception: Friday, May 9, 6-8 p.m.
